The OEM Spec media for this filter is 80/20 cellulose/polyester. 80/20 is a MERV 11 media typically used on blast, grinding dust, wood sanding, powder paint, and weld smoke/fume. It is the most economic and common media available that is effective in the 1-3 micron range. For MERV 15 efficiency and better filter life, select Nanofiber. All Filter Professor Filters are Fire Retardant.
